Join us on Sept. 1 for free access to the museum and a special gallery walk-through with IQM’s Curator of International Collections Marin Hanson.

Hanson will take people through “Placemaking: Quilts and the Creation of Special Spaces” now showing in the Gottsch Gallery. The exhibition shows how quilted textiles can be key elements in defining a sense of space and features the largest pieces in the IQM’s collection.

Gallery access is FREE to the public from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. The curator walk-through will begin at 5:30 p.m.
