Friends of IQM

Friends of International Quilt Museum is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting the mission of the International Quilt Museum through fundraising, educational opportunities and social events.

The Friends are making a difference. We welcomed 600 visitors to Art Market 2023, with 24 artists including our Friends Table. During the Art Market we experienced an increase in sales of 11% over our prior year. In total we raised $15,336 to benefit the museum!

The International Quilt Museum is located on the University of Nebraska - Lincoln's East Campus, and houses the largest publicly held quilt collection in the world. Diversity and inclusion are central to the University’s and the IQM’s mission and pursuit of excellence. Each person has something to gain from and offer to our community of learning, discovery, and outreach. All are welcome here.
