Passage Quilting is an intentional practice of making a memory quilt to honor and celebrate relationships transformed by loss. Working with materials that carry meaning, memory, and emotions, the collaborative, transitional, embodied process of Passage Quilting fosters a healing heart. Join Sherri Lynn Wood and see the quilts she made in her personal journey of making a series of passage quilts from her mother's and grandmother's clothing after their deaths in 2003. Attendees who are in the midst of loss or other types of personal transition are invited to bring a piece of clothing and the story it carries to share with the group as a first step of the Passage Quilting process. Sherri will also be available to answer technical questions you might have about quilting with clothing. Click here for additional opportunities to learn about Sherri Lynn Wood’s Passage Quilting.
