One could easily mistake this doll quilt for a full-size piece. This example illustrates the style and the fabrics found in quilts that graced family beds of this era.
The 4-Patch quilt is framed on three sides with a floral chintz fabric and is bound in a woven tape binding—the same style and finishing as seen in over-sized chintz quilts.
